Network Interface IP Cores
Ethernet has become a primary communication method between systems and even among modules within a system. Despite the apparent simplicity and interoperability gained by using IP network communication links, implementing full-function Ethernet protocol handlers in an embedded environment often drives up system cost and may even decrease system reliability, when a more focused, application-specific solution offers optimized performance and avoids these problems.
Adaptive understands IP networking and Ethernet protocol stacks, and has implemented custom protocol stack solutions in many systems in order to achieve high throughput performance with a small logic footprint in lower cost FPGA devices. SNMP is an inherent part of many systems developed by Adaptive, allowing simple remote data access to network-enabled devices. Adaptive is experienced with high speed optical and copper line physical interfaces, GigE and 10-GigE, often making use of SFP modules to create products that support a variety of physical network interface requirements.
Adaptive is ready to help implement your most challenging network interface applications today.
That’s what we do.
